Well its a new year! And I figure I should post information about my related Sailor Moon panels during the 2010 convention season.

Well its been a couple months since I last made an update. I end up going to GarasuNoShiCon(Glass City) in July. It was a 2 day conventions. To read my full report with videos and photos please check out- http://moonratio.sailormoon.cc/?p=670

My next convention is Gencon Indy which is next weekend. I will be volunteering there at their Jail n Bail. (No artist table and no panels). The weekend after that is Matsuricon, below is my panels schedule and Photoshoot times.

Right now these times are pending they could change as the schedule is posted for panels-
Friday August 13th-
Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel at 3:00PM to 4:00PM - 1 hour panel
Hana Yori Dango Live Action Fan Panel at 7:00PM to 9:00PM - 2 hour panel

Saturday August 14th-
Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel at 10:00AM to 12:00PM *but there is a chance that it could be push be back to 11:00AM to 1:00PM* - 2 hour panel

Both Animazement and Otakon are up in the air for me. Both conventions are a week before two big gaming tournaments.

Animazement is a week before the FunSpot Arcade tournament in New Hampshire and Otakon's a week before the Pro-Am Pinball Tournament in Pittsburgh.

I'm holding off on all of them till I hear about the guests they get. If Animazement gets a lot of the anime Sailor Moon guests, I'm there. If Otakon gets any good guests, I'll be there, my friend even got reservations at the Day's Inn across the street.

It sucks that the stuff I wanted to do this year wasn't better spaced out. I wished Otakon was in July like it was last year, but it's like all of the ones I wanted to go to fell near other things I wanted to do this year.

Nick I can understand. I'll keep you posted on the guest list for AZ, so that you know if you do change your mind you do have a room with us so that you don't have to worry about that. ^_^

I'm keeping space open for you, Yosenex and Will because all 3 of you are waiting to hear on the guest list.

Also from everyone else... I like to hear a respond about wither or not I should stick with running the PGSM fan panel for its last run at AZ or should I scrap it and go ahead with the new panel- Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel which is a working title. And does Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel sound right for the name of the panel or are there any other thoughts? And are there any thoughts about what to present in the panel that I have miss?

Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel is the most straightforward name I can think of, unless you did Universal Sailor Moon Fan Panel which might flow a little better off the tongue

Coolness! Yeah I'll add your information under the collecting fanart for prize and yes I do agree about being more efficient. I had some artists contact me after Otakon asking to see if anyone won would be checking them out. I make sure for Matsuricon last year that I had all the artist's information on the backs of each piece (I used my sticker paper to print out all their information and place it on the backs).

As for the newer panel. Since hearing your respond to it. I'm going with it. PGSM Fan Panel was fun, but I'm making it last run the Otakon 2008.

I never thought of an Universal Sailor Moon name. Sounds neat! Anyways need more input... since I need to update the topic post over on Animazement's forum and contact the panel head about scraping the PGSM panel information and I'm giving them the newer panel information.... but before I can do that I need to get the panel's name figure out and need to get the panel summary written out. ^_^

Thanks so much for the input everyone! It means so much for me... and if anyone that went last year and wants improvements for this year's panels please share!

Just bouncing this post to let you know about my panel status for Animazement 2009!

I've just received an message back fro Xav head of panels for Animazement 2009 and here is what he had to say about the status on panels-

There is a first round of fan panel acceptances based on early submission and content.
Then I receive the guest and culture panels. Literally this week and next.
Then we spend a week fitting things in.
Then we send the second round of fan acceptances.

We have alot more schedule content this year because of the new space.
But we are making a new schedule baseline this year including putting in buffer time between panels so AV can be setup.

Next year I am hoping to start sending 90% of acceptances by the end of January.

So this would mean that I would hear something by the end of March. So keep your finger across that my panels make it in the second round of fan acceptances. (It seems weird though- because I'd sent out both of my panels submissions back in September 08... umm)

*Keiko Han's Panel is in the morning on Saturday like at 10:15am (waits for the schedule to be posted on the website for the time), but I do know for sure that her panel isn't on the same time as ours.

UPDATE- 5/15/09 Both Sailor Moon Related Guests cancel because of the ongoing swine flu scare! With the threat of being quarantined for 10 days upon their return to Japan, they just couldn't take the chance of affecting their work or their families. So both the guests panels have been cancel!

But this isn't stopping me of going to Animazement and running my panel. That stupid swine flu can pack it and leave! I've never had the flu and never will get it!!!!

Sailor Moon Photoshoot

Location- Lobby- Then move to a better location.
(I was looking online for some interior photos of the Raleigh Convention Center to get an idea of location for the photoshoot, but found no luck. Mostly the images are drawings or computer drawings. Darn you would think when the Convention Center open in September 08' that there will be photos. >.< )

UPDATE- 5/26/09 Thanks to all that came to both of my panels! My full report and photos etc will be up very soon (I'm hoping to put them up by this weekend. I have been exhausted since driving 9-11 hours both ways, so I'm catching up on sleep and now my voice has gone >.< now I need to work on resting it and getting it back to normally... oo my what next). Tommy aka kungpow12345 is currently working on getting the video footage up online, once its up online I'll post the link.

UPDATE- May 30th, 2009!

Just found out today that my "Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel" and "Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel" have been approved for Matsuricon in Auguest! (Also my Hana Yori Dango Live Action Fan Panel as well) More information about those panels for Matsuricon coming later today!

I'm kind of late posting a report from AZ and my panels because I came down with a cold|cough from getting it from someone at Animazement! OO my... I've heard that is going around from others that went to conventions recently! But don't worry you all I'm doing a little bit better, but not quit myself yet! Just wanted to say so far here is-

The videos from last year's panels transferred fine, but alas mine this year didn't so...there ya go, that's why they're not there.

Thanks Tommy for posting the videos online. I'm also posting both of the videos on tsukimubi's imeem video gallery as well. As soon as the videos are upload there then I'll post the links. It just gives you another place to watch the videos at. I notice the place where Tommy has them has the crazy pop up each time you go there. Weird!

Unlike Youtube, Megavideo has limitation for traffic. I watched a few minutes, then decided to watch again but got a message that I exceeded traffic and should wait for an hour to continue watching. Maraviollantes doesn't like Megavideo

I watched today Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel (downloaded version, since my Internet is not fast enough to watch such big videos online without getting long "buffering" pauses every three seconds). Excellent. I think such panels are very important in keeping Sailor Moon fandom alive :oh:

PS: My next conventions are in August-
Gencon Indy (Just working in the dealer's room (no panels and no artist table) with my friends at the Fandom United jail n bail booth.. if anyone one plans to come to Gencon Indy feel free to look me up. I might be in costume. Also coming with me is Angel aka Seyia cosplayer at Animazement ^_^

. We all are working on costume ideas... wither we all are going to cosplay as a group or whoever we want to be. I might bring Dark Mercury to this one... who knows. I'll keep you all posted.)
Matsuricon - I have an artist table in the artist alley ^_^

and all 3 of my panels- Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel, Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel and Hana Yori Dango Live Action Fan Panel have been approved! Just waiting on times|days|locations for them. Also I might this year for the first time at Matsuricon have video footage for Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel and Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel. One of my friends will be bringing his camcorder and is a big fan of Sailor Moon and I've asked him at Animazement about video taping both panels and he said he would love to. So lets see if this all works out! I'll keep you all posted!

*My goal is to at each convention I go to that my panels have been approve for to have video footage for each of them. Not only for people that couldn't make it to view it, but also help us panelists improve ^_^
