I found this interesting place while searching for SM pics for making the 15th Anniversary logo.....

THE SAILOR MOON ROOM (TOWNSMAN CLASS)
See pics below for what the room looks like and the location of the resort.

This is from Ten Thousand Waves--a luxury mountain spa resort--near Santa Fe, New Mexico, that feels like a Japanese onsen. They're primarily a large, beautiful day spa, but for those who plan ahead, they're the best destination spa they've ever experienced.

Amenities

* Queen-size bed
* Daybed with twinkling starfield
* High-ceilinged bathroom with spacious two-person shower
* 30" flat-panel TV with PlayStation 2
* Wireless high-speed Internet
* Gas fireplace

Rates

* Sunday - Thursday :: $219 per night
* Friday, Saturday, Holidays, &
High Season :: $269 per night
* Additional Guests :: $40 per person per night
Rates are for single or double occupancy.

Very cute idea AND a very cute room!
I'm a bit surprised to see this in the first days of 2007; it sounds like something that would have been "hot" 8-10 years ago.

I want to visit! Why was it called the Sailor Moon room? (Was Usagi on the moniter an addition of yours, or is it usually like that?)

I don't think it has anything to do with anything apart from them apparently using Takeuchi's artwork without compensation. (There's no mention on that site of series copyright notices...)

Pretty cool for a themed room. But I'd have the bed spread with the bunnies and moon's on it and you can't forget the rooster alarm clock!

Hmmm, I wasn't going to suggest that it was photoshopped, rather, if someone had put a DVD in there. I will look at the website.

OH! I saw this a few months ago when I visited Santa Fe, I saw "SAILOR MOON ROOM" and nearly screamed.

Let me quote the brochure (by the way, the image on the monitor is in the brochure):

Sailor Moon: "Contemporary Japanese with magical bathroom, ceiling star field, high-tech goodies, wireless internet."

A neat find, this. We could compile a list of spurious Sailor Moon holiday destinations... Somewhere on the board a few months ago I linked to a resort in the Netherlands Antilles called 'Chibi Chibi'.
