Is it me or is everyone else having the same problem?
Each time I add "L O L" to any sentence, it comes up as "rantipole" :neutral:
I do not understand...

Those are the word filters. You can turn them off via your user control panel, if you don't like them.

Thanks for explaining the whole 'rantipole' thing, I was very confused with why Laugh Out Loud wasn't appearing, hahah

Anytime. ^_^ You first go to your user control panel and click on board preferences. Then you click on edit display options, where you see enable word censoring just click no and be sure to save whatever change you made. ^_^

So that's how it done. I never know there was an option to turn it off. I still don't get how it's a filter like it's a bad thing or up there with bad languages.

Glad that this thread came up. I can post my "lol" and see it that way when I'm in need of laughing.

I had that same problem when I joined. The word "scout" kept getting changed to "cookie".

Word filters fucling suck. They're a bitch to deal with and why censor what we say and yet users are allowed to post hentai pics. Hentai is ok and yet saying "****" is a no-no.

Kinda ****ed up wouldn't you say?

Just cuz the hentai has it's section it doesn't justify the fact that we cannot swear without being filtered. :grey:

In case anyone hasn't been aware, filtered words are still displayed in their filtered forms for anyone else who hasn't turned off the filter. :)

I had to keep editing the words and seperate each letter with a space x(
