Hi! :D Do you have any feedback anywhere? Also, will you be posting some photos? I have some friends who might be interested in some of these things and I might be interested in Silver Crystal Broach (not sure which one you're talking about there).

Are you taking PayPal?

Thanks

Hi!!My items can see on my channel youtube. If you, for greater security, you want to see pictures and a note signed by me and the date of ogg, I do so without problems!: P
I never sold (this is my first time) but I bought on this forum. However, to ensure maximum transparency, I accept payments with paypal and since I sell from italy, buyers can choose either by Posteitaliane (now informed me of a certificate and secure method) or by a private shipping company such as UPS or other (the choice the method of payment with the costs shall be borne by the purchaser and then it is your right to claim any kind of warranty!).

Good luck getting any of that to sell. I'd say you are emotionally attached to them if you priced them that high. Also they should be from Japan, and not an international release by Bandai. Though some people might collect the different versions.

It would help to see photos posted in this thread.

I'm afraid I did not understand much of your message ..
They come from Japan because some pieces have been produced only for the Japanese market but since I have contacts I could get them.
As far as prices are high I would not say (because the starting price at which I bought them) and especially when compared to prices ebay.com (the 5 th pin sells for $ 700 and the feathers of Jupiter and Venus 250 if I'm not mistaken).
I just try to get back the amount initially spending for these items. However, as soon as possible I'll put the photos.. are so many objects.

Most of those prices aren't high MrShoujo. ^__^; Have you been looking at toy prices lately?

Thanks for the link kaddy! I have shared the link with my friends and I will let you know ASAP if anyone is interested!

If you ever want to sell that Uranus Lip Rod let me know, it's the last one I need ;)

The transformation pens are so cute! Would you take $240 for all four? I've put off getting those sets but if I can get them together that would be great  I won't be able to pay until the new year (next weekend) so let me know. P-:

Thanks for the post! Fine for me $ 240 for 4 pens also because shipping costs are higher end!;)
However, if you want to save even a little bit so you get some other object that you save on postage.
For the lip of the outer rod for mo0mento I have not yet decided to sell them, but if I do I'm warning you:)

$150 to $200 for an item is High. It also means to me "Emotionally attached." A Seller is willing to let it go... for the right price.

I saw a listing for an item just now for $2,200. That's just insane. And another item for $320. How do people come up with such arbitrary numbers? I have both of those items. Is someone saying I could get out of credit card debt and finance a trip to Japan with only a few auctions? My items are in the boxes, pretty much mint condition. High prices mean not just emotionally attached. There's some serious issues going on there.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again - If I could get some of those eBay (ripoff) prices for much of the items I have around here, I'd be able to buy a house and then some.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sailor-Moon-Crystal-change-rod-stick-wand-toy-Bandai-Sailormoon-MINT-condition-/320805786542

I have this. $320? Why not just peg the price and go $3,000? Geez, I have a good feeling that this seller will still have this for a while.

And the Luna Sphere in Irwin Toy packaging. That's not as old as the other items, especially those from Japan. It sold for about $12 new. It's not worth more than that. It shouldn't be worth more than that to anyone. I hope people have some decent sensibilities and refuse to pay so much for things.

People who sell items for the fair going price aren't emotionally attached - they are just doing business.

If you have something that's worth about $200 on the market and you're asking for $2000 then you probably don't actually want to sell it. But if something is worth $200-250 on the market and you're selling it for $200 that's just... normal.

It's not arbitrary - most collectors I know keep track of the going rates of items they want so they can spot a good deal if it comes along. If one is going to spend hundreds of dollars on collectibles one better do their homework.

A lot of people list things with inflated prices on eBay to try to catch that buyer who either does not know better or really just wants whatever it is so much that they will pay some crazy price.

If you tell me which items you are talking about I'd be happy to tell you the current 'going rate' for them :D Many non-collectors are surprised about the rate their old toys can sell for these days.

The SuperS henshin wand in that auction has sold for an average of $190 in the last 12 months on eBay with the highest being $255. Because of eBay and PP fees, items are often listed 15-20% higher than average on BIN prices on eBay. So that auction, while a bit high, probably isn't completely outrageous, especially if it were a very high wish list item for a collector. You're right, it will probably be there for a while. They either don't really want to sell it or they are seeing if anyone will go for it before lowering it to a more marketable price. That being said, if you REALLY wanted to sell one of those right away, listing it for something like $150 would make it go fast.

It's not really about being "sensible," it's just supply and demand. These things are long out of production and some of them are very desirable for collectors and fans. The more people want and item the more money they are willing to spend to get it because it becomes competitive. When more people want something the price goes up. If no one wants it or there are more items than buyers then the price goes down.

Such is the world of collectibles! :usagi:

Completely agreed with SailorAstera. Its all about supply and demand. Clearly, MANY people don't think the prices are too high, or else no one would be buying items at those prices.

Say an item starts at $0.99. Its not the seller's fault if the bidding goes to $300. They did not determine that price. The buyers did.

Again. And again. And again.

After time, new sellers look at the completed listings. They see that an item has ended four times for over $200. They will act accordingly, and list their item at $250 buy it now, (as SailorAstera said, to cover eBay fees). Or, as she said, they could choose to take a little bit of loss and list for $200 and sell quicker.

Even if you look on Japanese sites like Yahoo! Japan and Mandarake, the prices for Sailor Moon goods are still very high. And they sell. All the time. The market for Sailor Moon is always booming, and people are going to have to pay the prices the market determines if they want the item. If they aren't willing to pay that, they only have their fellow buyers to blame, because the buyers are who drive the prices up.

I agree with elysions. Because price keeps going up you wont get an item cheap as before. No ifs ands or buts. You want it you buy it or go without and dont complain. Even pink star locket can now elicit a three thousand dollar price if it wanted but because it has only sold very few times that high sellers rarely risk that.

But with multiple items sekling high constantly it stays up. Even i have said ok fine since items especially rare stay really high..
If you want it you'll buy. If you dont like the price go without. Buyers set the price frequently. So price stays high.

Prices vary. But rare items expect to apend a good penny on them.

Sm is not cheap nowadays at all.

No Problem :).

I had that reaction too.

For that price I wanted them lol.

Considering everyone else tries to overprice them at some point.

There's a seller I know who is selling for over four hundred dollars or at least was Kinda shocked it sold considering when i bought mine they were cheap used without box.

But ah well. No complaints. Hope you find it! :)
