The Spike Scream Award went to Darth Vader. Badass breathing, badass powers, badass story (minus the new trilogy).

Lord Vader is pretty cool, even more so since his full potential was never really realized. And contrary to most common fans, I actually think his pre-Vader non-maimed self is cool and powerful.

Joe the Condor from Gatchaman. Took damage to the head.....But so badass that the brain damage he received from one of the early episodes became his sickness later on, leading to his terminal death. However, due to this, his fighting skill has become more powerful. Even better, he comes back to life later on.
