Serious Lag

This forum is lagging out real bad for me. (Nothing else is, either. I popped up Youtube and a video loaded instantly).

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've been having various small issues for like 24 hours now. I'm sticking by my theory that we're overloading the server because of the American relaunch.

I've noticed a few bugs, getting logged off despite having always online, princess serenity 18 can't log in, error pages.

It's getting worse and worse, now it's the forum that not displayed entirely (I have some empty boxes instead of buttons/posts...)

I haven't had any issues with this forum, now youtube is another story. It freezes when I go to it. I was looking at some of Brad's videos yesterday (haven't dare to try today) and it would freeze my browser. At first I thought it was my laptop but it seems like the site is having issues or something. As for our forum.... um I don't know. I haven't seem any issues on my end.

The only problems I've experienced were blank screens. But it seems to have stopped.

If Endymion didn't exist, Serenity and Beryl never would have fallen in love with him, and Beryl never would have "unleashed the great power of the Negaforce" (lol) on the Moon Kingdom.

Do you use Firefox? Did you just upgrade to 4? That might be the problem, if Adobe hasn't had a chance to send out a new update for Flash Player

I'm not having much problems in this forums in terms of internet issues, even though my On Campus (Uni) housing internet is not as good as my Dad's internet. I did however, see some blanks on the after you posts there is a funny Sailor Moon scene page a few minutes ago.

I don't go on the SM forums often these days but since the Sailor Moon revival in the US, I feel like browsing here often. ^_^'

Clicking on stuff and having the screen go blank.

The site is overloading again...

I sometimes get internal server errors, but a refresh fixes it everytime (touch wood).

Everything seems to be back to normal for me (and probably for many others).

The reason for these lags is very simple: each hosting server on the Internet has limits for bandwidth and simultaneous connections (both to server itself and to its databases) - even those (especially those) who claim they have everything "unlimited". When the limits are exceeded, some percentage of visitors begin to experience blank pages, missing images, and load problems. When quantity of visitors drops and doesn't exceed limits any longer, everything is back to normal.
Nothing to worry about - that's how all other websites on the Internet work. The only solution to this is a dedicated server, which is not really required at this point, since it would give a relatively small advantage for unproportionally huge rise of server costs (about 10-20 times more expensive than shared hosting).

I've been getting a lot of lag lately and I don't know why.

I've also been getting the 503 service is temporarily unavailble message too.
