Putting papermodels to the side, I decided to create (for now) two drawings, one featuring Kurai Tsukino with a "monstruous" battleship (that is the YAMATO), and another, again with the YAMATO, but with her sister Usagi.

Enjoy (& examine) them!

The first drawing:

Nice - like happening in an alternate universe. :)

BTW, the kanji for "Yamato" are incorrect in the 2nd pic - the 2nd & 3rd kanji should be combined into one kanji instead, i.e. the 2nd one should be at the left part & the 3rd one at the right part of that one kanji. (Hence the 1st kanji for "Yamato" in the 1st pic should also be relatively wider, as "Yamato" is represented by two kanji only.)

Wrong.

When you look at the image below, you'll see I wrote up the word into the vertical. I know Kanji is written in the vertical, too, but then I decided to join a bit of Kanji style to the "YAMATO" word.

----------------------------

(off-topic) BTW, I'm buying Tamiya 1/350th scale "YAMATO" YAY!!!!

You don't understand what I was talking about - I wasn't talking about whether the kanji should be written vertically or horizontally at all, as they can be written either way. Now try rereading my post quoted above & see if you can get it now. BTW, if "Yamato" is written in kana, it'll be represented by three kana, tho.

Looking forward to seeing your finished work. :)
