Let me make a point or two on the Dark Kingdom "High Command"!
Why isn't Beryl a bit more excited at Kunzite capturing a Senshi! I know she's not wild about him, nor does she really trust him, but WHO else of her generals has had MORE success than Kunzite?
I am getting a sense that Kunzite, Dark Mercury, and maybe Jadeite would love to bypass Nephrite and even Beryl! I think they want to work directly for Metallia (Metaria)!
Being I have no doubt Kunzite MUST have been paying attention to the Dark Mercury-Venus battle, he must have seen that it was Sailor Moon/Usagi's powers that basically immobilized Dark Mercury, NOT those of Venus! Being he had doubts in Act 21 about Venus being the true Princess, shouldn't he start turning his attention to Sailor Moon as possibly being the REAL princess?
As Mercury HERSELF thought Venus was the Princess as they started their fight, why didn't she "dispatch" Venus before turning her attention to Sailor Moon or the other two Senshi? They certainly didn't seem like they were going anywhere!

Dark Mercury wanted to battle Usagi really badly, and not the other senshi. I wonder why?

Because she feels hurt by Usagi the most. She was her first real friend, the closest to her.

Well, you're probably right. In any case, when I posted that message I made a bit of a typo; What I had actually thought I heard was "DARK FORCE!" not Dark Power. I guess I have Dark Power on the brain.

When they're in mid-air there are two distinct sounds. The first sounds very much like "Dark", the second sounds not entirely unlike "Force." But they could just be grunts. I'm not going to stake my life on it.

I was thinking it was because she's in a ''I want to hurt those closest to me" mood, with Usagi being her closest friend. I thought it was ironic Usagi had to eat alone on the roof like Ami had to earlier in the series.

Seeing that Dark Ami knows everything about the senshi, maybe thats the whole reason Venus is the decoy.

I was just reading the synopsis on genvid mainpage...Hina knows about Mamoru trying to search for his past!? O.....and she seems like she's more concerned about him finding out his past then actually marrying her. Or it could just be me.

By the way, the marriage "package" includes the studying aboard part...no wonder Mamoru is so stressed from deciding to go or not. Getting married AND studying aboard are life-changing decisions. Hm....

I love how Kunzite is enticing Jadite to join his side. Will Jadite do that? He adores Beryl so much...will he "betray" Beryl so to speak?

eh not that anyone noticed or gives a flying f---ahem anyway I love this act! *hugs Act 22* Okay so that's impossible but hey this is internet land. I was waiting for Darkury to actually hit Usagi instead of all the "oh-so close" attacks. Mars and Jupiter battling Mr. Funny youma was great. He actually was creepy! I like Darkury's evil attitude annnnnd after waiting a bit longer than usual to view it was very nice to see that my favorite shitennou is back. ^.^ I have a question though. Where the heck was Makoto in school? I also don't get how in the next act it looks like nothing had happened with Ami since it seems like business as usual with a Rei filler.

Darn, I haven't had time to post much in here lately, and I don't have much time right now either, so I'll just say, this was definitely the biggest tearjerker episode yet. Damn, is Miyuu ever a great cryer.

I agree, I think Mamoru/Endymion should be there when the princess is revealed and also the love triangle needs to hit at least a climax or be at a breaking point when she is. HOWEVER I loved this episode as it REALLY got the plot moving! We may just finish this arc out with only a few episodes left after all!

Since she knows all about the senshi, how long do you think it'll be until she raids the secret karoake room? LOL J/K.

For some reason, I can just picture Usagi walking into the secret room while Nephrite sings Cest la vie.

I think out of all her friends, Usagi was the greatest friend. Ami was the one who CHOSE to sit alone on the roof. Usagi had asked her in Act 5 (I think) to sit with her, but Ami felt uncomfortable so she went to the roof. I'm liking the whole Ami-is-evil deal, but I'm not buying that she turned evil because her friends "abandoned her," which IMHO, they didn't do any of the sort. Sure, they were busy, but abandoning... :/

My guess on the Mamoru/Hina situation: Hina's father took care of Mamoru after his parents died, and raised him with his daughter, Hina, which is why they were childhood friends. Somewhere along the line, her father offered Mamoru Hina's hand in marriage, and he agreed to it, in debt of their services. Also included was her father's company, and the chance to study abroad. *shrugs* Who knows? That's my guess on it. I wish they'd clear it up ASAP. I'm dying to know what's going on!

I love how he's like, "Because if I chase it...I'll be seeing her again for sure..." Trying to run away from Usagi, but he can't!



Well, evil Endymion raided the secret base in the manga, so who knows? Aww, then that means Mercury truly has replaced Endymion! *cry*

Ami-chan is probably the kind of individual who has a good sweet exterior, but has a hidden dark badass side. LOL

I see it as she understands that they didn't abandon her, but deep down she still feels hurt because she was still lonely. Metaria's power is just using that to sorda keep her evil when otherwise she probably would have been healed by Moon's power.

I like this Dark Ami Arc too. Its obvious to me that Hama-san is enjoying the role. I for one hope that they don't turn Endy evil, and do something totally different for the show's ending.


Its just when I read your comment, I just pictured that instead of an ambush, Usagi-tachi walks in on the Shitenou, invited by Dark Mercury, enjoying the comforts of the Secret Room. Jadeite raiding the candy jar, Nephrite going through the karaoke songbook, and Kunzite hiding Kamekichi just to be mean. Yeah, I know silly thought.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love it!!! Pure genius! It'd sound like something Dark Mercury would do.

I was watching the Dark Kingdom anime arc and am really looking forward to when the whole Moon Kingdom story will kick in. I'm glad they took the time to develop all the characters but now I'm ready for that whole Silver Crystal bit. Let's GOOOOOO!!!

I can't wait to see Ikuko as Queen Serenity... she just cracks me up! Especially with the corn rows in 21. I can't wait to see her all made up and Queen-Serenity-esque. Plus the purple wig!

I had a thought after reading the act 22 synopsis... since Moon and the rest were unsuccessful in healing Dark Mercury, what if perhaps Mamoru can do it? If Dark Mercury is to replace Zoicite, then Zoicite gets added to Mamoru's camp, no? *Just as I thought! Mamoru gets a posse too!* If Mamoru is able to trigger something in Ami, then the Senshi would like him again! And Mako would finally come out with his identity...

Wouldn't Hina have to be there for the princess unveiling as well? I have a feeling Mamoru's not going to break it to her. She's just going to be there when it all goes down and then she'll understand everything, including that she and Mamoru are history. I don't see any other way she'll be able to let go of him. And it's more damage control that way cuz she won't think Mamoru's just ditching her... and that it goes much deeper than that.

The plot thickens!! I love the Zoicite cliffhanger... omg.. I can't wait til next week! Who cares if it means my spring break is over!

I'm trying to remember here - have the senshi really met Artemis before? IIRC, he was there when Venus first showed up as the princess, but I think the girls were kind of distracted at that point, and IIRC he's stayed somewhat hidden since then. And yet Usagi didn't seem at all surprised to have another moonkitty show up and talk to her, so...is she just totally blaséabout things like that, or am I not remembering something?

I've think they've met before. Knowing Luna and Usagi, I wouldn't be surprised if they have memory problems, probably a damaged hypocampus region of their brains (Do plushes have brains?).

But... But... BUT!! As much as I love evil Ami, if I had to choose, I'd rather have the whole Endymion evil thing. Makes more of an impact, IMHO. Ahaha, probably it's because I'm a bit biased to seeing Shibue act all evilishly sexay.

Artemis introduced Sailor V as Sailor Venus as the Princess. I may be getting the manga and the show mixed up but I believe he even called her Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom.

But then Luna runs up to him and they all have a talk when the "princess" reveals herself to the others for the first time.

Also remember Artemis showed up at the begining of THIS episode when Dark Mercury had just beaten the tar out of the sailor senshi. So he's been around. I don't think there was any reason for Usagi to be shocked to see a second moon kitten.

It's like Blacklady. She's not evil because she feels alone. Wiseman used his powers to make her evil. Kinda like this situation. Errr. I hope you get what I mean.

That is a good "heads up"for a possible raid by the Dark Kingdom on the Karaoke room, Neeko! It was done in the manga after Mamoru was "turned"; very well could be used here too!
I loved how Dark Mercury let Beryl know in NO uncertain terms that she was not going to be her subordinate! You go, Girl!

I agree. Ami-chan (and Blacklady) is not evil because she's lonely, the evil is just anchored in her because of her loneliness. I thought it was interesting Kunzite attacked Ami-chan instead of Usagi or Rei. He seems to be the most observant of the Shitenou.

Anyway, I like that the senshi are not acting like a team from the get-go, and this situation is moving them towards working closer together. They just met each other. We get to watch as they learn to trust each other, then in time (when they fully awaken) they will be an unstoppable force fully capable of protecting the Princess.

Mercury is going to make everyone in the Dark Kingdom her personal servant, lol.

Finally get to watch Act22. Really got me shouting when she transformed into Sailormoon instead of the Princess. But I really think that the awakening should be near soon, as they already showed that there is something weird of her tear and brooch and with Zoicite coming back and seeing Mamoru, he will soon discover that Usagi is the Princess.

But I have a bad feeling of Zoicite's "revival" though. Since he is awakened by Metaria's power, he might be up to something evil involving Mamoru (not neccesarily telling him about the past, but messing with his mind), which may mean more episodes before awakening of the princess.

Or maybe Zoisite has come to warn him about Metaria?

Maybe the Princess will be revealed real soon, like episode 25? Everything seems to be connected to the fact that Usagi (plus the other senshi) have more power in them than expected. Venus is pleassed that Usagi is starting to come around. Now, Venus must make sure Rei is up to her own challenge and path. I'm thinking Venus really is sick, with something terminal, and doesn't expect to be around.

After Usagi is revealed, I'm wondering if the other senshi will awaken immediately, or will they have their own separate awakenings? I'm thinking Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen will be the first to start figuring things out. Then they can work together to free Ami from Kunzite. Maybe Zoisite will help them, I'm not sure.

Heh, maybe when Usagi awakens as the Princess, the Ginzuishou will heal Minako's terminal illness.

Then Usagi can start working to stop the leperacy in India.

By the way, I'm only half serious :p I'm not sarcastic all the time!
