I see the bar at the bottom of the page that shows who's here. There are TWO people, not counting myself. Yet Since my last posts, NOBODY else has posted ANYTHING. Nothing in response to my posts. Nothing in response to other people's posts. Just plain NOTHING! What's up with that? If you're NOT going to post, then please LOG OFF so that you don't give others who are WAITING for a response the false hope that they will get a response.

I don't see what your issue is with getting replies, but please don't tell the other users of the forum how to act.

This is the second thread that you've made on this topic and to be honest, it's not really appropriate. Let others use the forum as they want.

Maybe they were just reading other people's threads? Sometimes I don't really feel like posting, yet I like to know what's going on at the forum and try to read the threads that sound interesting to me. Besides, if I have nothing smart to say, why should I post, as well?

People have the right not to post and not to reply if they don't feel that they can contribute to the threads at that time.

I don't always have something to say to the topics I look at. Nothing I need to respond to has been posted since I last looked, or I have nothing to contribue to a particular thread. Why should I try and post something when I have nothing to say at the time?

If I don't see any interesting topics on a page, I'll even go to "page 2" in a froum and post. That's why sometimes you'll see long lost and presumed dead topics coming back to life. It's because I post there so I can post something, rather than be bored and post nothing.

Not everyone posts as much as you do. I know I don't have the time sometimes, I just jump on, make sure everything is good in the forum, that there aren't any reported posts, check the few topics I regularly post in and then head off.

I guess the biggest thing is, everyone has the right to use the forum however they want, within reason. Just post and if nothing happens, come back later. :)

I usually just read the last 3 posts in any thread (sometimes more if it is a topic I started, or one that interests me). So it doesn't take me that long, unless I see something to reply to.

Then you can't contribute properly. When I do that, I normally apologise in advance  And say sorry if I havent read it  But I come back and read later  Plus its nice to see what everyone says- you get to know different forumers.

That was extremely rude. Some of us have problems posting stuff, like me, cuz i have dial up internet and it screws up all the time. and then sometimes i just read the posts and really have nothing to say about it. you really shouldn't tell members what to do. Sometimes they can't help it, and then sometimes there's just nothing to say

I saved my browsing sessions in my browser, so if I open sailormoonforum.com my browser will log me in automatically. It is more convenience and I don't want to log off just because I don't want to post something.

Said videogamer, didn't you know something like that?

*nod* I have tabs open to several things. My hotmail, gmail, Gaia Online, my livejournal, myspace, this forum, currently a couple places to get tips for a game I've been playing, tv guide page, and so on and so on. Sometimes I have tabs open to something because I need it for reference but I don't want to bookmark it.

I don't know how they all work, but if just being online in general and logged into the site shows me as online, even if I'm not being active here, then I'll be shown as online for hours, even DAYS at a time, depending on my work schedual. I only shut my computer down when I go to work, because I'm not doing anything with it then. When I'm home it's on so I can get on quickly if I want.

not trying to sound rude but sometimes it's better when someone decides not to post something...I mean, if there were like 20 people on at the moment and they weren't posting anything, I might get a little frustrated...but just two people? that's really not a big deal.
