Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman

Who's better? And who beats who?
(I'm using the Lynda Carter version of Wonder Woman because the comic book version would stomp)

My vote goes to Mary Sue Xena. She's managed to kill a group of olympian gods which made me hate the series and had to be more historically accurate(or inaccurate depending on how you see it) with our universe so that Christianity can replace the Greek/Romans religion.

Then there's that thing she did in China. That didn't made sense at all.

I'm going to have to say Wonder Woman. She battled Nazi's in the forties and then returned in the seventies to fight the commies. Her only weakness is to get tied by her lasso.

If Xena goes to the DC universe she'll get more powers. She's close in power to Kinasin Gogeta.

I thought Xena was just an above average human, granted, with the luck of the gods.

She can kill gods. Her weapons are enhanced to injure invulnerable beings. She can beat Dormamu and Shuma Gorath blind folded.

True, but, they are both Amazons as well. They both know how Amazons work. The difference is, is that Wonder Woman has picked up tricks in Man's World.

The problem is that thing she did in China. How do you explain that?

What she do in China? My Xena is a bit rusty.

She's got telekinesis. And she made an army turn to stone. And she gets another set of powers in India. It seems to be exclusive to what country she goes but I am certain she'll only get more powerful in the DC universe. The higher gods are on her side. I'm guessing she got her god killing powers from Judaism.

That sounds like an outlier to me. If she battled Wonder Woman, it would be strictly Greek Gods.

Linda Carter's Wonder Woman, hands down.

Even if you account for Xena's luck and combat skills, the bottom line is that she's a human. She's an extremely gifted human who can sense the presence of gods, and has god killing weapons, but she has the stamina, strength, and speed limitations of a normal person. Wonder Woman, even if the 70's series, does not. The only reason why Xena wins on her show is because the gods there are incredibly stupid and incompetent.

Xena could only use those mystical arts when she was in a moment of perfect peace or emptiness or something like that. They even showed in one episode when she tried to use those powers just before a battle where about to be overwhelmed but couldn't.

Plus, if I recall correctly, Xena was never an Amazon. She eventually allied with them, of course, but I can't remember her becoming one within the show's run. Gabrielle did early on, and maybe Xena was adopted by a tribe later in the series but I don't remember this happening.

Didn't Xena fought Hercules at least twice? Needs to do a rewatch.

And who says she has to fight short range. She's got that splitting chakram she can use. She'll definitely have problems with the flying versions.

Edit:
Forgot to mention she's defeated an army trying to protect a sick or wounded Gabriel. And there's also the part where she killed hundreds of rats all tied up.

Yeah, she got her start in Hercules. Besides, Wonder Woman has her tiara against Xena's chakram.

Remember Xena's chakram can split into 2. And also has magic deflective abilities. Xena was able to kill Poseidon(who wasn't even in his human form) cause she was able to deflect a magical bolt. I'm assuming her chakrams can break/damage god level crafted weapons since it can deflect magic.

Edit:
Couldn't find the episode. Just an AMV.

I really hated this episode. Why does it's history have to be parallel to ours?
