Good ones? Bad ones? Bizarre ones? Talk about 'em here! Here's one that I found out about when using Mame the other day. It's an old Laserdisc arcade game called Cliff Hanger:

The gameplay is just like Dragon's Lair; just move the joystick and press the buttons in the correct combination. You might be thinking that it isn't based on any anime. Well, watch the video and you'll find out that it's actually a Lupin III game! It uses clips from the first two movies, complete with some of the worst voice acting you're ever likely to hear in any anime. Seriously, listen to it and tell me if you've heard anything worse. I understand that the game came out in the early 80's, but still. I'd love to find an actual arcade machine so I can play the game legitimately, but it's incredibly rare. I heard that it was supposed to be included on the blu ray version of Castle of Cagliostro, but the original materials for the game couldn't be found.

Yeah the voices are horrible indeed.

Yuyu Hakusho for the Mega Drive/Genesis. Forget the 3DO, Snes and PS2 versions. This game is really one of the best and its super fun with 3 other friends.

It's not your ordinary Street Fighter game. It has air combos (just simple air juggles), you can shift between planes much like Fatal Fury. It has a clash system done right when you hit another opponents hit box at the same time. It's pretty much a predecessor for Guardian Heroes which is more of a beat em up. It has a special meter which you can charge. It has loads of features that make it one of the best multiplayer fighting games.

This is the Bomberman of fighting games.

Not exactly anime-related since it was released before the second set of OVAs but...

Best version of the Capcom Jojo's Bizarre Adventure video game.

The Dreamcast version was only good for including both fighting games and being arcade perfect (similar to Street Fighter III: Double Impact also on Dreamcast) but the PS1 version had Super Story Mode which covered more of the Stardust Crusaders manga than the arcade's story did and even had different kinds of stages. That more than made up for the PS1's limitations with regular story mode & such and it was a ☹ shame when the 2012 HD version turned out to be a lame port of the second arcade game without Super Story Mode included.
