I saw that this morning, wasn't sure if it was the latest episode or not (I'm so behind.....). I think Mare Do Well might come back at somepoint. Maybe as a brick joke.
Anyone else think Rainbow Dash reminds one of Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother?

The pony version looks cute, but something feels off. The normal one is my favorite and I'd love to see something done with it. I like the one with the tail, but if she is going to have a tail, then shouldn't she have ears and a horn?

Only if it's just a "My Little Pony" movie and not "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" movie, being not directly based on this show. "Loosely based", maybe, but not "directly based".

Not if it means making them aliens on Earth during some kind of war. He wouldn't be a bad fit for a two part episode where the Elements of Harmony get broken out though.

For a non Japanese animation, I really like the show. I enjoy the meaning of the show, the characters, their voices and lots of other stuff, i'm even collecting some stuff (shirts, stickers, figures, etc)

Why people like it?

1. Because for a non Japanese animated series it features lots of interesting thing, it's cute yet tough/funny, it's has character development.

2. It's a hype, people see other seeing it and they tend to just copy others or something like that.

I like it for all these reasons, too!

And also I love it because the original MLP was a huge love of my life as a child. So of course I'd watch a new show. I like the voice acting, I think the animation style is cute, and overall I really like the presentation of all the different ways in which it's okay to be a little girl.

My favourite episode so far has definitely been the Rainbow Dash-centric reading episode featuring Daring Do, the Indiana Jones-like pony!

Primary piece of evidence: Helios is an alicorn like Celestia and Luna.

Though, my only issues with the Queen of the Changelings was that she seemed to come completely out of left field, and that he behavior has Cadence's impostor made her immensely obvious that she was the bad guy. There was little suspense in her reveal in the second part, as we knew it was coming and that she was not who she claimed to be. They seriously needed to make the whole "the bride is the villain and an impostor" aspect much better handled.

I mean, first we're told that a threat has been made against Canterlot, then we see Cadence acting totally like a bad guy from the get-go, and anyone with a brain could put two and two together and figure out that she's the new enemy.
