(Edit [May 16th, 2009]: This post went through an overhaul since there are some missing links, and it looks a little better, so here it is.)

*wave* Hi.

This may not be necessarily Sailor Moon fandom in practice, but check out these images:

ImageImageImage (Poor Acguy... Okay, not really.)

(All from [this website], though the images above seem to have pretty much disappeared from that website. Similar images on the same website can be found [here].)

I actually had seen these images around the beginning of 2008 when I stumbled upon it. As someone who happens to have an interest in the Gundam franchise to some extent, it came to me as not much of a surprise that someone would attempt this, as Mobile Fighter G Gundam [Wiki] included one mecha design by Hajime Katoki [Wiki] that went by the name of "Nobel Gundam" [link], which seems to have been inspired or been influenced by Sailormoon (though it reminds me more of Sailor V).

There's another one I found (based on Sailor Jupiter) on this webpage: [link]

And another with legos! [link] (You'll have to scroll down a bit.)

There's also what looks like a doujinshi picture that I found in the Polycount gaming website (where I first found the Quake 2 SM models):

Thanks for the links Siroh! While the concept looks silly, it's very creative! I'm still a sucker for the Quake 2 models! The lego ones look awesome too ^_^

While I can't understand it exactly, judging by the picture of the RX-78GP03S Gundam (Yes, I know what it is. So sue me.) along with the "0083," and Sailormoon, it's about at least two separate things: Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon (which, as an anime, started in 1992), and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory; an OVA that was released between 1991 and 1992.

I think VGer thought of it as a crossover picture or something of that sort. Personally, I was expecting something I've already posted about around eight or nine months ago...

This is kind-of a bump for a pretty much dead-in-the-water topic that has been that way for a long time, but with it being outdated due to some broken links, and that since I was reminded of it and maybe others might find this interesting, I decided to update it. It looks a little better now... Though the way I link things here seems a little mangled since I originally just stuck the link out there rather than integrate it into the sentences as I do now, but I'm digressing here.

I'm considering posting another thing on this subject, but because of a certain rule/guideline of a certain contest (though it might not be hard to figure things out here), I'll decide to do so later and will stay vague on this.

I should've seen someone bringing Nobel Gundam up as I was slowly overhauling [my old post] on that just to refer to it. I'm too slow. :)

Cool RX-78 Gundam figure, modded to look like Sailor Moon, complete with long hair and air intake vents shaped like a bow!

Actually, it's the Nobel Gundam from...Turn-A-Gundam I think it was. I have no idea why they made it look like Sailor V, right down to Minako's blonde hair. ^_^'

Obviously it's a modded figure. Because Nobel Gundam wouldn't have anything to do with Sailor Venus, or Aino Minako (her regular form).

Or maybe it would. I just googled this gundam by name and one pic even showed it carying a beam whip (similar to Zero Suit Samus's beam whip) which seems to be a parody of Sailor Venus's "Venus Love me Chain".

Actually, it came from [Mobile Fighter G Gundam]. [Turn A Gundam] is the one with [the mustached Gundam]. I believe while Nobel Gundam looks a lot more like Sailor V, Sunrise wouldn't want Hajime Katoki to design the Nobel Gundam to be much more SM-like in how it looks so Naoko and Toei could go after them. Though didn't she have a little fun with some Gundam models recently? And drew a picture of [Usagi in a Bandai Hobby Center jacket] too. :)

And that Nobel Gundam figure isn't modded. It comes with [God Gundam] in the [#0029] package of [Gundam Fix Figuration] line of figures. I have [#0006].

Thx for those nostalgic pics, Lunar Archivist. :) It's a classic crossover.

If only it could be seen in the Sailor Moon anime - maybe Minako watching it on TV or constructing the plastic model. :D Too bad the airing periods of those two anime (for Gundam, I mean G Gundam only) didn't overlap (if I remember correctly).

Oh yeah, I've seen that doujinshi image before. Had no idea what it was about, until now. Thanks! And those are some really cool pics, too! Me like!

Incidentally, I remember back in high school I thought about doing a fanfic involving Sailor Senshi piloting Gundams. It never lifted off the ground, let's put it that way. ^_^'

It's the latter. Don't pick a fight with me on the second post we're interacting on.

What Siroh32 said. I got the package at a 50% off sale at a convention last year. The thing has a ridiculous amount of articulation and interchangable parts. :)
