I have been a fan since I was 7 years old and had a big resurgence when I was in middle school. Most of my collection came from when I was in middle and high school. Then I fell out of the obsession but has been still had a huge influence on me. (It was kind of unhealthy how obsessed I became that I didn't know that I shouldn't talk about Sailor Moon to every single person). It became an avenue of self expression when I was in middle school. It really made me go into drawing and the arts and I even majored in Jewelry and Metalsmithing in RISD because I wanted to make super accurate cosplay jewelry as well as making dolls. That's how much influence Sailor Moon had on me to set my career.

Back when Sailor Moon was on TV the internet wasn't as popular and there wasn't a lot of forums around. I don't know if this forum existed at that time.

Anyway, I am now 26 years old working as a Jewelry Designer/Renderer. What are your ages and occupation? I am not sure how to make a poll but still curious to see.

Tbh the internet was ****ing awesome back when it was airing. There were so many fan sites and fan senshi. Even though Alex Glover's manga translations were bad, it was so much fun reading them and finding out about all the cool characters that never made it to the anime and digging around for hours trying to find an image or fan art of said characters.

The entire sites dedicated to the stupidest shit, like whether or not it was written "Eriosu" or "Helios", oh man. Good times.

haha yea i remember spending tons of time just trying to FIND a clip of sailor moon and trying to find out about the other senshis. it was spectacular when we would find out more of the later series. i still wasn't able to see all of s and super s. i am going back to rewatch them all in japanese with sub. i only watched stars in sub. ah it was amazing to find a music video of sailor moon. i remember my favorite was "tonight"

I wonder, will sailor moon only be popular in our generation? My sister is 10 years younger, yes they are into it but not as much as ours... maybe there will be a revival at some point.

In a month I turn 24 ( )... I was just 4 years old when I first saw it! I was obsessed with it... I saw till the SuperS season and then the whole thing stopped until September 2011 when I accidentally came across with some videos on Youtube and...stuck!!! I have seen the whole series in japanese with eng sub and PGSM! I even buy the manga! I somehow re-discovered it!!! It was a part of my childhood...I can't forget at school the ''classical'' fight between boys and girls: all the girls were like 'Sailor Moon is the best!' and the boys 'No!!... Dragonball is the best!'...Good old days...

I am 16 (going on 17) years old, and Sailor moon has got me into drawing anime and cartoon characters, and also into sewing because I like to make Sailor Moon costumes and dolls. I didn't watch much of it as a kid as I'd like to. I didn't have cable at the time, and I only saw it if I went to Grandma's house, but I usually watched Nicklodeon at that time. Also my little 11 year old sister, who obviously wasn't around at the height of Sailor Moon's popularity, also likes it, likes to watch whatever of the anime we could find on YouTube, and we also read the manga together. She likes to draw some pictures from the manga, and she's pretty good for a kid.

19 and kicking. Was 3 or so when I was exposed - not against my will though. So far SM haunted me through the last three years, but I've come to terms with it.

I'm almost 19 (the end of next month) and currently a college student. I've been a fan since I was 4 so 15 years. I was introduced to the series by my 12 year old neighbor. I've recently encountered elementary school or maybe even early middle school age girls who know the series, not quite sure how they know it but whenever I wear my shirts out in public I get tons of reactions from girls around that age.

I'm 31, I'll be 32 in 3 months.

I'm from the fandom era where the manga was still owned by MIXX and printed in a book-sized compilation with three other series, Magic Knights Rayearth being the only one I recall. I missed when the anime aired on FOX, and I didn't start watching it until its last run-through on the USA network. (the last days of Cartoon Express) It didn't hit Cartoon Network until a few months later when I started college.

I still remember when there were fanpages everywhere with ugly wallpaper, images that took forever to load, and annoying MIDIs that were impossible to turn off. That's how so many of us learned to use HTML.

And I'm actually a tad older that Mara. I was exposed to the show in my mid-to-late teens.

Yeah I remember a time when I was really into it in 5th grade, a friend let me borrow some of her Sailor Moon DVDs, and I would always pretend to be Sailor Moon on the playground. I even used to wear dango pigtails. I still would now if I wanted to, but my hair is a bit to short. I actually look more like Sailor Jupitor, tall, long brown hair and such, and I used to wear it in a long ponytail until I got it cut last year.

currently I'm 26 as of last Monday, I started at age 9 in 1995 with episode 13 when SM was on WB11, I continued to re-watch it when the USA network aired it in 1997 [age 11] then from 1998-2002 [12-16 years of age] saw it on Toonami/CN after that I saw PGSM online in the Christmas week of 2003 [age 17] [finished the rest in 2007] about a month later [Jan 2004 ] I first saw Classic subbed then in 2006 [age 20] I saw sailor stars, and R sub. S and SuperS sub I saw between 2007-2009 [age 21-23] it was also when I first checked out the manga. Last but not least I saw some of the musicals in late 2009, early 2010 still at age 23.

I do believe i'm 13 now.

I'm 23, will be 24 in a little less than six months. I got into Sailor Moon when I was 11 back in 1999 just before the S and SuperS dubs premiered on Toonami. A friend of a friend introduced it to me and my friend, and the rest is history. I'm sure I'm the only person I know who still likes it, but I get a lot of compliments from people around my age on my Sailor Moon shirts when I go out.

I'm 29, turning 30 in September. I first watched Sailor Moon the week before I turned 13.

I'm 14. I think the first time I saw Sailor Moon I was around 6? 7? 8? Not too sure on that. Although I didn't become an avid fan until about 3 or 4 years ago.
