Oooo. Very interesting episode. I'm going to mention things people may want to know....

Lots of crying towards the end. Sailormoon's crystal from her little broach lit up and tried to heal Mercury...but it didn't work and Kunzite took her again. And they cry. :( I really thought she'd turn into the Princess there. Urg. :|

Mamoru was daydreaming at the dinner table with Hina. Hina's always talking and talking but Mamoru's mind is some place else (thinking about Usagi of course  ).

Nephey is back...but his body is faded a bit, and when he saw Mamoru he said "Master...Endymion" and welcomed him. Mamoru was like ":?".

And a new youma. w00t It was like a circus thingy. He looked scary when he did that evil face. >:O

Venus was there toward the end, she helped Moon from being attacked by Mercury.

I liked this episode but, all the episodes make me want to see the NEXT episode because they have these clifhanger-like endings. :D The preview is even more interesting (Rei's gonna sing!).

'Tis all for now. ^_^;

Do you mean Zoisite? Argh, it's still at 48% for me! :(

Yeah, Zoicite. Jadeite and Neprite were the ones who always talked behind's Kunzite back.

This episode was amazing. I felt like crying in most of the scenes. The acting, the words, the emotions, it was all so well done! They did a pretty crazy psyche out near the end of the episode, which was very evil in my opinion. Anyways, without furthur ado, I present to thee the:

Act 22 Awards!
Brought to you by, Arugaado! If any of these pictures needs resizing, or it's making the page load slow, let me know.

Hottie Of the Week:
Image

Evil never looked so hot: For the first time, Chisaki-san gets the award for HOTW. Maybe it was the fact that she was all evil and badarse this episode, or the fact that she had her hair down. Either way, she got crowned HOTW. Didn't you love the way she spoke throughout the episode? So low and sultry... it was hawt. I'm looking at Chisaki all differently now. *quagmire head tilt*

Best Shibby Moment:
Image

Mmm, turtleneck: Another "2 minutes of airtime" Shibby episode! In these two fabulous minutes, we see Shibby eatting a not so good looking dinner, and then see a fuzzy, blurry guy in a room playing a piano. (What wacky adventures will they put our Mamo-chan through next?!) I picked the fuzzy, blurry scene because Shibue looks damn hot in a turtleneck. Brings me back to Act 13. *melt into goo*

Funniest Moment:
Image

Damn those crazy plushies: It may be just my ecchi mind, but I was bursting out laughing at this scene. Y'know, where Luna goes on Sailormoon's shoulders and starts "talking?" Yeah, well, I couldn't find any other funny scenes anyways.

Cutest Moment:
Image

Why the Plushys are better than the CG: Weren't you just going "awww" when they did a close up of the plushys? I swear, it was the CUTEST thing in the world. This is why my friends, plushies are better than the CG. Even if they hump everything they touch.

Saddest Moment:
Image

Love ain't gonna help you through this time: This scene, was GENIUS. In all situations where a friend turns evil, the other friend always breaks out some crazy sentimental crap, which somehow gets to the evil friend and breaks them out of their evil spell. In this case, USAGI GOT PUNK'D!!! It was so genius of Mercury... man, I'm in awe. Total awe. Just the look on her face was.... *claps for Mercury* (Isn't this supposed to be a sad moment?)

Biggest Let Down:
Image

We got Punk'd: Thought the Princess was going to awaken? Nope. She just transformed back into Sailormoon. *shakes fist* Darn you writers, psyching us out and letting us down like that. Guess we'll have to wait another episode for it....

And finally!

Coolest Moment:
Image

I want Zoi's baby: Of course, when Zoicite comes back in the end all fuzzy and hazzy looking and sexy. I wonder what he'll tell Mamoru?! But yes, undoubtedly the coolest moment.

The next episode looks REALLY funny, especially where Rei was like fighting to get to the karaoke machine. Can't wait to see it!

What a terrific episode! I wouldn't be suprised if we get our much anticipated Princess revealation within the next two episodes. It really did seem like a set up for it.

The highlights for me were:
    Knitting as social commentary.

Teardrops on lockets (I'll give you one guess where that pesky Crystal is being hidden).

CG Moonkitties sniffing each other's behinds!

    Synchronised "Make Up!" movments.

The Darkury transformation. Again. On a Merry-Go-Round, no less. I just can't get enough of that.

The return of Zoisite. Will he spill the beans to Mamoru?!?

After seeing that Amusement Park for what must be the 100th time, you have to wonder if they have some kind reciprocal marketing arrangement. Will the actresses have to do kiddy shows there over the summer?

I agree with neeko about the hottest babe this episode. Hama was just plain pretty with her hair let down on the merry-go-round.

TO ALL VENUS FANS HYPING ABOUT THE SO CALLED CONFLICT BETWEEN DARKURY AND HER... SHE FELL TO 1 BLOW! HAHA!!! Ooops. Sorry for the loss of form.

Ok, the youmas are seriously getting ugly... and stronger too. I can't remember for once when a youma can control two senshis like that... might as well drain them of their energies instead of locking them there.

Am I supposed to cry in the end? I didn't... guess it's all because I cried earlier... :D I noted something down too... Kunzie was NOT affected by the new healing process from Sailor Moon... weird.

Finally... we have all four Shitennou back! Love the blurry Zoi, must be coming back to crave for Master Endymion before Metaria brainwashes him into a bad guy again.

All in all, ANY EPISODES WITH BAD HAMA EQUALS GOOD EPISODES.

Well now she and Tuxedo Kamen have something in common.

Wow! A very good episode! It's touching!

But can anyone tell me why the classmates including Naru-chan would ignore Usagi? How did Ami-chan do this? Bad that I don't understand Japanese.

Oh, I just can't wait for the next episode. Have to wait for another week. :o

I'm not so sure. I don't think she was hit. It was the illness thing again. Either way, she does spend an awful lot of screen time on the floor.

Amen to that.

It was all very Carrie, wasn't it? I think she has them under her Dark Power.

On an unrelated point:

Any lingering doubts we may have had about Luna being psychic were put to rest with this episode. Just like Cordellia in Angel, she flashes in on Trouble Central!

Also, do moonkitties really need to bob their heads up and down when they talk, or do they just do it to look cool?

Bah, again! I once more got spoiled by having poor self-control and coming into the forums before I saw the episode. >_< But anyway, I stayed up till the darn download was finished, and now I've seen it.

Ah! PGSM has done wonders for the character of Mizuno Ami/Sailor Mercury! First, they made her likeable; second, they made her able to actually attack; third, they made her COOL! :D Some of that bad-arse attitude should stick around after she gets returned to normal. It's becoming. :P

I wonder...will she remember the whereabouts of the Dark Kingdom after she's reverted? Perhaps she will, and will be able to lead the other girls there.

I found this youma to actually be creepy. Ick, clowns... Ick, clowns with fangs... >_<

Komatsu Ayaka needs to learn how to make some different facial expressions. That lip curl thing she does for anger/frustration/sign of concentration/despair/every-other-bloody-emotion is getting really redundant.

Well, poop! I've now officially lost on the princess revelation prediction. Well, there was a teaser where I thought the real thing would be. Does that count? :D

Acts 21 and 22 together are the best so far!

They must already know. Remember when Usagi went all Youmal and Ami et al were able to hop, skip and jump their way to save her. Surely that cave was located in the "Dark Kingdom." If they wanted to go back, how hard would it be?

Yea... I have to agree with Neeko on the huge letdown moment. I held my breath and everything going "Finally she'll remember!" And then what happened? No! She transformed into Sailor Moon again. My god I was so disappointed. I could actually feel the disappointment in my chest. Grr... that's aggrivating. I guess I'm not surprised though, Tuxedo Boy has to be there when she remembers or else it won't be dramatic enough. Though the scene with Zoisite at the end was a bit of a consolation, when he greets Mamoru as Master Endymion. Hopefully we don't have much longer to wait.

I enjoyed this episode a lot of little surprises. I hope that in the end all generals will remember their true master. I wish Ami had used a dark version of one of her attacks though. Was it just me or was Venus' chain a bit short?

Urgh, like many of you I thought this was the episode where Usagi was going to be revealed as the princess, or at the very least get the ginzuishou. I kinda liked the fact that Mercury wasn't healed so easily, gives em a challenge. Mamoru should have dumped Hina during dinner since she talking her head off, course Usagi might have done that too ^^. This episode also swore me off clowns for good (although they've creeped me off before). I'm not sure I want to see Rei sing...they were doing such a good job w/ keeping in touch w/ her serious manga character (which I liked better than anime Rei). Humph, guess I'll have to wait and see 23 just to make sure.

Yay for Mercury still being evil, and Yay for Zoi being back, and Yay for being close to a revelation! Wheeeee!

wohoo!!! great episode :D i think kunzite's plan is working, since it's pretty obvious who "princess" venus is protecting :D . I love the expression on Venus' face when she saw how Sailor Moon strength is growing. She looks so happy!!! it's really rare seeing Venus smile happily, usually she's either angry or riling the enemy.

Did you see how Venus looks like she's trying very hard to find the right words to say? (because she still needs to be the decoy) when she told Sailor Moon to fight, her face kinda says "C'mon , you're the real princess, don't just sit there and die :x "

Yep, i do believe i'm right about the moon princess aura being gold {we saw Moon use that to heal in Act 18}

Oh, and Zoisite-sama is back!!!! *heart* yes! yes! yes! i love zoisite!!!

wahh, i don't care if Usa & Mamo gets together anymore, i'm absolutely loving what they're doing with PGSM. really great job ^_^ (...but don't quote me on the Usa/Mamo thing, i'm just ..umm.. using that as a ..umm.. scale! on how much i like the story, yeah, that's it 8) )

hmm.. but it looks like they won't elaborate much on zoisite, the real princess, or dark mercury in the next episode, so i'm waiting for the 'next' next episode

Or i could be wrong

Haha, if you ask me, instead of Zoi-kun being in love with Kunzite, he seems to be in love with Endymion-sama! Well, that's just the vibe I got atleast. Zoi-kun looked so welcoming,

Ep 22 was one of the top for me!

Some thoughts...
1) Yes, Zoicite is back. I am very happy. And he still remembers the Endymion issue. Unfortunately he is not in a solid form, only in spirit.
2) When Usagi glowing and her hair was all flying during the confrontation with dark mercury I thought, OMG, is she going to turn into the princess. Did anyone else thought so too or was it just me? I can live with that!

I know that there are some native Japanese members here so if you happen to read this post please, please clarify some of these questions for me. I am like dying to know these details about Act 22.

1) What did Hina say or ask Mamoru while they were eating? Did she suspect something?
2) What did Mars say to Venus after the fight at the Aquarium? Does it relate to anything about her know for certain that Venus is not the real princess?

Thank you very much

I really think this is one of the best episodes yet! I really wasn't expecting Zoisite to be in Mamoru's apartment at the end, but did anyone notice Kunzite mentioning something about Zoisite earlier in the episode (i think it was Kunzite at least...) When Usagi was glowing gold I really thought she was going to be revealed as the princess, I agree that was a BIG let down! In the next episode maybe Rei sings "Sakura Fubuki"

I liked this episode, but I agree w/ the above posts, the almost-awakened Princess thing was a major cocktease (can't think of a better word to describe how frustrating this was  ). A little bit of leading-on is good to add to tension, but too much just gets really, really, really freaking aggravating. They need to get ON WITH IT and soon.

-- Despite this, I still watch the show. I guess actions speak louder than words huh

I really believe that we'll need to wait until Act 34 before we see the true Princess awaken. 'Nuff said.

My god. A real tearjerker. Not as much as "The Passion of the Christ," but quite effective.

I would have thought that the Princess be revealed, having seen the second half the show, but they -- as Neeko said -- punk'd us this time. Nevertheless, I loved the episode.

Zoisite is back! My favorite Shitennou! Without a doubt his first and only words shock me enough to think of whether he might side with Endymion or with Beryl and the other Shitennou... or perhaps another affair might take place.

Luna and Artemis finally seeing each other face to face was a bit funny. First, the writers start off with the CG and then do the real plushies?! I mean, it's cute, but sketchy too because of the movements they make. And before that, Usagi-chan's humiliation was really touching because Ami-chan never had to go through the majority of the class bullying her, and we see that Usagi-chan's getting the whole spiele about it. Poor Usagi-chan.

Yeah, Ami-chan looks hot when she's evil. I won't be so repetitive as to why like everyone else here.

The beginning was a small crying-fest. I mean, the rest of the senshi (except Venus) realized how ignorant they were as to *who* they could confide in or with whom they should spend more time. That was a bit sad.

Y'all know what the real tearjerker was. I don't have to elaborate on it. But when Usagi-chan and Rei-chan started to cry, I couldn't help to join in the waterworks (the tears didn't come out, but the feelings were almost making them come out).

Next week's episode will be the --- ! Of course it will! But this one will be one of the episodes on the top of my list, without a doubt. ^_^

This episode was amazing. P-: Even though I wanted more of a bash fest btween Venus and Mercury, the 'semi' revelation was enough for me.

Hmmm... during dinner Hina did seem to be grilling Mamo about something... (THIS IS MOST LIKELY WRONG, but this is what I got out of it)
I THINK somewhere in the convo asks if Mamoru really wants to be in the relationship, or was it just her father's something that kept him in it... and he was quiet and Hina stated "Just as I thought..." then Mamo saved himself by saying something, but Hina still didn't look convinced...

:grey: I can't wait until next week's episode, and TV-Nihon's subs

I was thinking they said that too. And I'm also thinking that their relationship will not last long because everytime Hina talks, Mamoru is like " :| ". I guess it's the fate thing. :)

Anyways, yes, extreme tear jerker...I don't understand much Japanese but I had to walk away to keep from crying there at the end. I really want to know what Hina and Mamoru were talking about. The next episode looks like a fill-in to make things last longer *sniffles* mean old PGSM creators, yanking our chains like that.

And why, oh why, would they make us think we were getting some Princess action and completely deny us?? Blargh!!

No doubt about it this was a great episode! I can't wait until next weeks episode even though it centers on Rei-chan...but I agree I want to see next next weeks episode :)
