This is is everything to do with Hisakawa Aya the voice of Ami and many anime characters such as Miki from Utena, Yuki Sohma from Fruits Basket and Kero-chan from Cardcaptor Sakura. She is also a singer, has realeased succesful albums and singles (currently stopped releasing albums after her 5th album release), and has sung many image songs. She has also written essays, hosted 3 radio programs (most notable is Hisakawa Aya no Shiny Night) and released videos of her live stuff. Unfortunately she doesnt have a website.

Something I would like to share: I have a Rahxephon: The motion picture book with a page about the main cast with info and 3 question interview. Apparently according to that book her special ability is 'Level 2 Certification in Pet Care' (considering she's an animal lover)

Aya is very good, she is awesome and she has a beautiful voice.

I may be a Aya fangirl but I dont have any of her CDs (Only Pictures of her CD covers) or Books by her or most of her songs I dont have

She also very professional in voice acting - When she gets into her character, she will really cry in parts where its very emotional (Mentioned in Animazement 2005) - Something Stage actors do

She is also a great singer - Try listening to some of her songs besides her Ami ones, she can sing a variety of songs not just soft ones (which Ami has)

Currently there is not much is going on with Aya since the Sailor Moon DVD Promo event and no animes since voicing in Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st

Speaking of the SM DVD Promo event Ive been looking at some of the pics from the event: Aya-san has some talent (or should say assets ) ...it must be optical illusion...or something...

What can I say - she's great. In her last role as Haruka's mother in "Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu" she was perfect.

I should watch that sometime (when I have time)

Yuki Sohma from Fruits Basket - Sounds like a girl but soo fits with the episode where Yuki crossdresses
Miki Kaoru from Utena - Great male voice, sounds 75% male 25% female though
Maya Natsume from Tenjoh Tenge - Her voice was sexy! Me likes!
Yohko Mano from Mamono Hunter Yohko - Very different to the quiet, sweet voice of hers; outgoing and sounds like a typical teen, but its awsome!
Skuld from A!MG - Cute but bratty, the one singing voice Im not really fond of but sounds cute. I prefer the sweet, mature voice

Um she's still doing anime, she's in Bleach.

Is Bleach anime still going? The last Bleach movie she did was back in 08'

I don't think so - like Hollywood, they're running out of creative juices, hence they've to cling onto proven, successful shows. Most of the current top rating anime are old shows or new seasons/incarnations of them, & it's also been continuously like that in the recent years.

sorry about that, anyways Bleach was ok in the beginning but got real stupid during the "Bount" series, as for naruto, no just no.

You should. When I was watching that serie, I have a feeling that Aya created character that might be Ami in her current age. Calm and delicate at first, but when her huband goes too far, nature of the senshi returns to life. What is more interestung, her huband name's Gento and has same seiyuu as Gendo from Evangelion. Just watch this scene (since 2.30 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsNcYsjk ... re=related ). It wasn't very good anime, but it was one of the few series where parent's creations were really excellent.

I think she is one of the most professional seiyuu in business. Her voice is maybe not as distinctive as let's say Megumi Hayashibara's but she sure is versatile (love the contrast between Ami's voice and Kero-chan's.When I first watched CCS and then found out that it was her voice behind Kero I was really amazed, that was probably the moment when I truly started to appreciate seiyuus' voice acting talents)
Oh, and her boyish voice is good too. It is feminine but not in an overwhelming way.

All in all, I think I like her best in Fruit Basket as Yuki - she sounds confident, but at the same time quite insecure.

村 【むら】 Mura (s)

Just because a name isn't in the names database, doesn't mean it can't be used. Manga writers would be up a creek if they couldn't make up names.

She's probably doing another character, since she has done a few guest characters from the series

I think her surname is pronounced as "にじむら" (Nijimura), a la another character w/ the same surname in the same series. As for her given name, I'd bet on "さき" (Saki) since that's more common.
