Sailor Moon Shout/Chat?

I'm not sure if this is the right section due to it doesn't have to be entirely be about Sailor Moon but should here able to have some sort of a shoutbox or a chatbox on this site? I kinda wander about this few days before I moved but I noticed using someone pc but is a chat system will be consider in the future or it can't happen?

I would like this to happen cause it makes it easier to get to know others well rather than any other messenger to download. The messengers also causing some lags for me especially skype.

That would be a great idea indeed! However if we were to have a chat room, lets please not have it in a seperate site from the SMF forum like SBC Forum's chat. See this to get what I mean.

Yeah, I see xat and chatango chats and use them before. I know some forums have a built in chat instantly but I don't know about this forum have it built in. I'm pretty sure they're many chats out there so it's a possibility for which one this forum chat needs (if the staffs think about it).

It's not on the top of my list, but it's something to look into at some point in the future.

What about using Mibbit? Then it wouldn't use up any of our server's resources and could provide real time chat. I'd be happy to set this up if anybody were interested.

Whatever the means, I'd like to see a chat box here, so if there's a technically viable way for this site, I'm all for it.

I think I may manage to post up a temporarely xat chatbox for SMF if that's okay for the staffs and okay for everyone here. Just so until SMF gets a shout/chatbox in.

There is a person-like icon next to an username. The following usual colors are
Red - Offline
Green - Guest
Blue - Member
White - Mod
Orange - Admin

The only rules to follow at the moment are trying to avoid using bad languages and don't be mean or troll others on purpose on the chat. Anyone can join too.

I haven't seen anyone came by it when I got on. I'm not going rule out that xat chat seem uninteresting for anyone but still useful to bring together SMF members to chat in one place in a chatbox.

It possibly a timezone though but anyone and everyone can join at anytime. I'll be on time to time since I see you on xat.

If Wifi doesn't get cut out and I manage free time I'll be on around 6-7 after whatever work is done (if I get free earlier than the schedule I'll check if there is anyone around ASAP at home or in the library). I hope I get to chat with some members I grew fond off live.

What happen on your part? Like it doesn't completely show any messages or the whole chatbox there? It could be an adobe flash it needs.

There're other free webwares scrutinizing site safety, so I'd seek a 2nd opinion.

I got that too. Almost didn't pass by xat to see the message pop up so I deleted it. I change my sig to Chatango shoutbox. Chatango seems to not give out the malware message so I guess it's safe.

Xat now gone in replace for Chatango.

Xat is working fine now.

I prefer Xat over chatango. Chatango seems to crash after a certain number of minutes.

I feel the same way with Xat more but I'm glad that malware I encounter wasn't from Xat (or the website I went to). Chatango will be in my sig but Xat is back and in my sig too.

I forgot about that lol. Sorry with the mix ups. Malware follow up with no internet for that day would do that to me. I edited back my sig to the same xat we chat in before.
